My name is Celeste Denson, the artist behind Art by Celeste Patrecia, based in Bountiful, Utah. I create original fine art and handcrafted goods, watercolors, woodburning art, custom family signs, hand-painted functional pieces, prints, coloring books and handmade jewelry. Each design begins as a hand-drawn pencil sketch, allowing me to thoughtfully develop composition and detail before choosing the most fitting medium. Nature is my primary source of inspiration. I am drawn to flowers, wildlife, and peaceful landscapes, and I strive to capture both their beauty and quiet movement.  My creative process is slow and intentional—after sketching, I either wood burn the design into natural wood, layer transparent watercolor washes, build rich texture with oil paint, or refine linework using archival waterproof ink. I choose these mediums because they each offer a distinct way to express depth and warmth: woodburning highlights organic texture, watercolor creates softness and light, and oil allows for richness and permanence.  Having grown up learning alongside my mother, who was also an artist, creating feels both personal and generational. Through my work, I aim to bring a sense of peace, craftsmanship, and connection to the outdoors into everyday spaces.
